Pastor Oleh Yukhymenko's Site
Word of God Lutheran Confessions Lutheran Theology Site
Glory be to Jesus Christ!
This is me. I am very thankful to
you for visiting this site. As you have probably guessed my name is
Oleh Yukhymenko.
I am a pastor of the Ukrainian
Lutheran
Church. In 2001 by the mercy of God I graduated from the Ukrainian
Lutheran Theological Saint Sophia Seminary in the city of Ternopil,
Ukraine, and am infinitely grateful to our Lord Jesus Christ who
enabled me to study in it, and to His faithful servants in the person
of its Rector David Jay Webber and all the professors who gave me the
knowledge of the Word of God. After the graduation from the Seminary
for two years I was working as the pastor of what is still a mission
station in the city of Ivano-Frankivs'k, Ukraine, and as the pastor of
a congregation of believers in the village of Lazarivka in the
Monastyrys'k region of the Ternopil's'ka oblas't.
After that I accepted a call to serve as a pastor in The Congregation of the
Ukrainian Lutheran
Church in the Village of Vorobiyivka, Zborivs'kyi Region, Ternopil'
Oblast', Ukraine.
This site has been created for the purpose of participating in the
fulfillment of the Great Commision of God, which is found in the Gospel
according to Matthew 28:19-20:"Go therefore and
make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe
all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age. Amen." And the Internet provides
a wonderful avenue for reaching out to hearts with the truth about the
salvation won by Jesus Christ on Calvary. Those who live nearby and
would like to praise God, participate in our worship services, learn
the Catechism, be baptized (if they have not already been), and
eventually take part in the Sacrament of the Body and Blood of our Lord
Jesus Christ, are cordially invited to write to me. If you want to know more about
the Word of God or Lutheranism, or to discuss these things, please also
write to me. I am ready to hear
any comments about what you would like to see on this site and comments
about what you have seen.
And here you have an opportunity to read the Word of God, the Lutheran Confessions and visit a wonderful Lutheran Theology Site created by pastor David Jay Webber.
